Anna (She/Her) graduated from the University of Minnesota with her Bachelors in Environmental Design and Planning in 2020, and finished her Masters in Landscape Architecture at the U of M in 2022. She got her start in this field after stumbling upon a Landscape Maintenance job in 2016, and fell in love with the horticultural side of landscape design. She finds the intersection between playful and practical design exploration especially intriguing. During her time in the MLA program, Anna has found a new appreciation for innovative and experimental design around climate related issues, particularly helping communities that have been disproportionately affected by climate change.
Anna has been involved in the ASLA Student Chapter group, the University of Minnesota MLA curriculum redesign committee, and the WxLA (Women in Landscape Architecture) Minnesota chapter group. When Anna is not in school she enjoys playing hockey, disc golf, board games, hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
