The Barefoot Therapy Garden is proposed to be nestled in Stewart Park in Minneapolis. This site was chosen because it's located adjacent to a large hospital, medical complex, and an elementary school. Visitors can check their shoes in at the entrance, and enjoy a barefoot walk through a variety of different ground materials. Whether it's a stroll through the labyrinth, sinking your feet into the sand, splashing around in the foot pool, climbing on big boulders, smelling flowers, or just sitting with the space around you, the goal is to leave with a sense of physical, mental or spiritual healing.
